Professional Angling Promotions was formed in 2005 by Professional Walleye Trail Pro Angler Jon Thelen. Jon has established this business through many media outlets in the past several years. Commonly seen on "Saturday Morning" television, Jon has appeared as a host or guest on over 40 outdoor television shows in the past three years. These shows include: "Midwest Outdoors", "Keith Warren's Outdoor and Fishing Adventures", "O'Neill Outside", "Outdoorsmen Adventures", "People Who Fish" and "In-Fisherman PWT" Television.
Over the past six years Jon has also written or been the subject of over 60 articles published in various magazines including Midwest Outdoors, Fishing Facts, Outdoor News, Walleye Insider and In-Fisherman Publications. Since 2003 Jon has competed as a "Professional" on the Professional Walleye Trail. His accomplishments include 4-Top 25 and 7-Top 40 finishes in 17 PWT events and a "Coleman Cool Under Pressure" Award.
